Introduction

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Within the church there is an organization for the women called Relief Society where the women gather to support each other, serve others, and improve themselves.

I first started sewing when I was young, and took every sewing class I could possibly fit into my school schedule, through middle school and high school. During high school I participated in the Make It With Wool competition two different years, and made it to the state level both times. I also received a couple of blue ribbons for different sewing projects at the Utah State Fair. When I got to college I decided that I wanted to continue learning all I could about sewing. As a result I decided to get a minor in sewing. Sewing is a passion that I love, and a passion I want to instill in others.

Recently I was asked to lead a sewing class for any of the women who would want to attend. I decided to start this blog to keep track of ideas for projects and projects that we actually complete. I hope that this can be a great resource for anyone else needing to teach a sewing class, or for anyone just wanting to learn to sew.
